So many people have been injured and killed, but so many local New Orleans folks are now facing trauma- their 2025 and beyond has been irrevocably altered, as has their sense of safety in NoLa. But New Orleans is such a strong, resilient city. My heart is truly broken.

Also just important to note that this is a Fox News article- the writer says that some ppl in the campaign were "apparently" aware while others weren't. The article is essentially a summary of a podcast episode, not actual reporting.

I don't think it's all Harris's fault. She had Biden's team running the campaign and they failed her. It's a party issue- can guarantee there wasn't one person on the team w/out a college degree or w/ a broad imagination. These are the ppl who thought Biden should run in the first place!

I just finished going through copyedits on my first book and there were very few suggestions that I turned down. I felt seen in the best way. I also learned some things. It was a genuinely pleasant process.

lands and even fighting for federal tribal recognition. I personally don't think we should be celebrating Thanksgiving as a holiday without working towards tangible reparations for all Native Americans and advocating for Native rights restoration in the U.S. We cannot and should not ignore this.

In my forthcoming book I examined the hell that is working on a male dominated job- I know it wasn't just hell for me, but also for the men who didn't conform to the macho status quo. Being a human isn't easy, whatever your gender. Men are also oppressed by patriarchy.
