I once complained to a friend that ‘this toaster is taking its time’ and on the e of time it popped up. It remains one of the greatest moments of my life.

Hadn’t realised he’d been in that long. But managers always have their number 1 for some reason and they’re usually afforded a lot of mistakes before they’re dropped

Carrick has always been a ‘you’re there on merit’ manager and probably any other position he wouldn’t be back in but goalkeeping is a strange breed😊. I remember back in the day fans up in arms when schwarzer walked back into the side after crossley had been class for 8 games.

Brynn has done nothing wrong so will be interesting if he goes straight back in the side

Nope, everybody does 😊

15 goals in 5 games, when was the last time we were this prolific..?

It’s quite nostalgic to see a player celebrating against his former club..

As much as carricks football can be a delight to watch I do miss the days of ripley hugging touchline before whipping a cross in for a big number 9

Not to be pedantic but Gibson didn’t appoint him, he was there prior to his involvement in the club (and even then Colin Henderson was chairman). That side will always be the one I remember though, even more than the carling cup winners

You must be a child of the Juninho years🤣. Back in my day of the early 80s everyone was either Liverpool or Man Utd in my class

And of course related to this, have you forced your team onto son or daughter. We live in York now and my 12 year old had two options, boro or her local team. She chose the boro and is now a season ticket holder

Dad took me to boro wolves in 82. I had liked football but to this day can’t remember if I asked to go

Seeing you in York. If you take audience questions mine is how did you get away with messing about in the river classic cuts🤣 had management forgot about you by then 😊

Latte one for me too. The collective ‘ooo’ as he did the turn made it special

I look at the England squad and haven’t heard of half of them. Although I’ll likely give it a watch just to see how Roger’s gets on
