Have you read "Tunneling to the Center of the Earth" by Kevin Wilson? This is a book that I believe you would enjoy thoroughly. It is my favorite short story collection ever.

But like. Man. I love the whole concept of just hanging out doing projects around others doing the same and socializing. It is always my favorite thing to do at cons, too, doing little art get-togethers at the zoo haha.

I've been really appreciating just little get togethers, including things like the Somerville drawing meets.
I also help host a small parallel play meet where we bring projects and hang out similar to that, but it's in Nashua/Hudson area, so far from the Boston people.
