What a legacy to have.. to be the piss queen. It's a lonely throne, but at least you earned it?

Like, for real, this poor kid has a phobia of *all* insects and bugs from a bad experience in his most vulnerable and formative years. He has a panic attack over even the smallest winged creature, even if it's harmless. I might *ask* his mom about it, but now it's in my head I'm gonna do it.

100%, haha.

Bugs are scary, what can I say? It seems classically, a lot of feminine monsters are top half human / bottom half monster. So, we may have to look at aliens and sci-fi for Straight Male Hear Me Outs.

Though, Shelob is (much to my dismay) given a human form in one of the LotR games (Shadow of Mordor, I think) even though she has always been a giant spider.

Hahaha. I would also propose yautja from Predator, but considering they're humanoid enough, I think it depends on where the line is. Like 100% not human or humanoid. I would also say Shelob from Lord of the Rings and argue a giant spider isn't an animal but I'm gonna assume you meant insects, too!

Are we including or excluding fantasy creatures? Would you include insects under 'animals'? What are your feelings on the Xenomorph Queen from Aliens?

Gotta start somewhere!

You don't have to apologize. I'm just happy to hear that you're doing al right! <3

There's an archaeologist on youtube, miniminuteman, who I adore because he actively debunks those 'what if' conspiracies and educates on archaeological sites that have all these made-up myths about them with actual truth.

I hate what ancient aliens has done to my very smart mother in law. "Did you know the pyramids were ancient power generators?" "No- that's not what they are." "But what if they were!" It's the 'what if' that I hate, it's so infuriating. Anyone can claim to be an expert and they're just trusted.

I'm paying my current, part-time editor $12/hr to make clips. If I had the means, I'd be paying them more.

That's so valid. I used to wear the medic armor all the time. Now I wear the +2 grenade armor with thermites because that's turned into my go-to for dealing with heavies.

It's so long ago. I didn't meet anyone doing it. All I did was occasionally watch the anime and steal my older brother's copy of a yugioh game he had on the GBA.

It definitley does! I still wonder where I'd be if I stuck with it, but back then just about anything I got into was so that I could do something with my older brother. I was a shy and lonely kid!

The day I stopped playing is burned into my memory. It's a shitty story, too. But the time I spent playing with my older brother, even if I was a little sore loser at the time, are unforgettable.

I never learned any strats or anything. What I ended up doing way back then was just taking any cards my older brother gave me and ended up created this towering monstrosity of a deck. It was a lot of cards.

I literally watched a tiktok the other day explaining a frog / toad deck.. Or maybe it was a youtube short, I don't remember. But I watched it and really really felt an itch to get back into yugioh. It's been over 2 decades since I played when I was a little kid.

Gotta dial up those goth baddie levels so that there is absolutely no doubt.

I did peek at a few of them! I'll definitely have to look into it.
