You need some Buckley's Mixture from Canada. It tastes like pine sap and sadness, but it works.

My grandmother immigrated to Canada from Holland as a child, pre-war, but was always tethered to her in small ways. Yesterday, we went to Holland, Michigan for their tulip festival - a happy trip down Memory Lane, seeing the flowers, the wooden shoes, and the blue and white pattern Delftware.

The point is, though, Canada DID see this π©show, DID consider which candidate was leaning the same way, and DID vote in the best interest of the country even if they voted differently than they had before. The US was all about the "me" vote, and what the gov't would do for "me." (Spoiler: they lied)

Not so far, but its supposed to rain all day yet. A bridge to one of the close-by gated communities has washed out, so π€ no one needs medical attention or anything, because the other access would be by boat or back roads, which are probably flooded too.

Any time a sentence begins with "We seen," I assume the next words are never "the inside of a book."

Cory Booker's ongoing hold on the floor should be live-streamed into every high school in America so they can see part of the democratic process works, hear the truths that he and others are repeating, and realize that everything going on in the country is not just being ignored.
