Same company, same venue: when we were young. Near enough $400 a ticket, far more to get anywhere near the main stages, and by the time the fourth-from-last band was playing it was literally impossible to move through the crowd. And honestly, still better than e.g. Download Festival

We brits are particularly gifted with the use of one specific word, so I feel confident saying that Scalia will be remembered as a prize cunt

Someone once said Tom cruise has more onscreen chemistry with motorcycles than he ever has with a human woman and I could not stop thinking about that

They can’t, not within the canon, and that’s part what makes it so great

He’s such an odd choice for a franchise star. Like the action equivalent of an industry plant. Hell even in Arrival they put specs on him and made him a scientist and it’s like, no dude that’s Jeremy Renner? *fantastic* in the movie Tag though.

Jeremy Renner, you were 14 years too early

My assumption is that after Part 1 underperformed, the studio/financiers insisted it be retooled as a standalone movie. And i'm guessing they had already filmed enough of it that a total rewrite was out of the question. Its worst crime though is its (under) use of Tramel Tillman. What a star

i had to settle for the Dolby screen at De Munt but i'm considering using my unlimited pass to book a ticket for IMAX and just show up for the last hour

Absolute mess. I know they usually write the “plots” around the set pieces but given that half the work was already done there’s no excuse for that first hour at all

We have them to spare here in Amsterdam!

The EHRC guidance is flawed but is, in essence, based on "this is the safest thing to do, in case a TERF tries to sue you". If a TERF tries to sue an organisation the size of Download they should tell them they stand by their trans customers and fight it. And they'll win.
