Hey Zoë! I've got availability over the next couple of months. I make AE toolkits, Mogrts and scripts, as well as regular motion design. 🌐 rob-barrett.com 📷 instagram.com/robbarrett.design 🛠️ aescripts.com/authors/automotion

I've managed to find a solution to the issue of toggle BattleButtons not keeping the hover state after being clicked. Here's a little demo of that working on my script Loopy! #AfterEffects #script #aescripts

Congrats on reaching a year, that's huge! I reached 1000 days a couple of weeks ago and forced myself to end the streak – I definitely felt some trepidation, but you gotta just pull that bandaid off! Duo hasn't turned up to punish me so far 🤞🏼

Totally – I was getting good results with stacked images, but the rasterisation in some of the icons was getting too ugly for my tastes! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions for it. I'm sure there are a bunch of use-cases that I've not considered.

Yes! Not with standard ScriptUI though, unfortunately. This is using the BattleButtons toolkit that I developed from Adam Plouff's BattleStyle: bsky.app/profile/robb...

Thanks again, Craig! Please let me know if you have any issues at all with the new UI.

Oh god, I know that one. What do you mean I can't just finish the tool and have the world immediately know it, love it and buy it?

I know it made it to Berlin, only because the German title on the side of a cinema caught my eye a few days ago.

Love it! One of my must-do projects for this year is to get some SKADIS boards up in our storage room and print a bunch of hooks and holders for our tools. They're currently thrown loose into a box and it drives me mad trying to find anything.

I realised that quote-posting with the new features wasn't the smartest move, as it now obviously isn't a part of this thread. So, here's that thread of BattleButtons features… bsky.app/profile/did:...

I've just added a function to swap icon colour palettes depending on the appearance of the #AfterEffects UI (Darkest, Dark, Light and legacy themes). Plus a function in the test file to change the panel's BG colour to emulate these themes without needing to change AE settings.

Full credit to Adam Plouff for the clever parts of vector-drawing capabilities in the BattleStyle toolkit, of which this is a fork. github.com/adamplouff/s...

What's in the works? An updated UI for Loopy; new features for MarkerMover; a new tool to swap non-AV layers (great for rigging and sims!); a new tool to manage child/parent layers; a new tool for advanced random layer selections… and maybe a new tool for drawing circles in a fancy way. 🌟

I also got the impression that our legal systems are in no way fast enough to stem the damage they will do to our creative classes and they know this and are working as fast they can to grab as much as they can before laws catch up to their crimes. www.wired.com/story/new-do...

How on earth did it take me 20+ more years to finally get into D&D?

Even as a teenager, I was spending excessive amounts of time playing Discworld MUD, and filling sketchbooks during class with drawings of my characters and equipment.

Mine was probably Return to Zork. I don't think I ever quite managed to complete it
