The memories are very far between though hahaha I will be glad to see the back of him. Wish him luck back in MLS but I agree

“Build it and they will come”
Do they mean the seagulls that circle the pitch every home game?

Well, 7/8. Surprised De Decker isn’t in as normally the Grand Prix winners make it (e.g. Clayton and Thornton a few years ago) but still a strong lineup

Aye Ipswich’s first home win of the season will 100% come against us, just typical 😂

Aye seems realistic, the point away is probably more likely to come at Old Trafford too

Aye still remember the family area that was in the Leazes with the PlayStations and comfy seating, was a nice place to sit in to warm up from the frostbite 😂

Special memories for you, it’s heartbreaking watching that season unfold on Premier League Years never mind being alive for it. Unfortunately my first manager was Souness, first game Sporting CP in 2005 so not had a lot of joy until recently hahaha

Love that, an era I wish I was alive for

We have to be on the front-foot like, and Longstaff can come on later on in the game to solidify the win

I know, it’s hard to pick a midfield 3 at the moment because they’re all deserving of a spot and it’ll give Eddie an even bigger headache when Miley’s back up to scratch. Definitely not a bad thing having so many options though

Aye always makes an instant impact when he comes on, but whichever team he goes I’ve got faith we’ll do the job 😂

Exactly, like I said they don’t have Kudus in their midfield so it’s a chance to run circles round them in that area

Yeah, Longstaff’s happy to sit back in front of the defence if needed. It’s a good problem to have choosing the best midfield

Aye Tonali’s only played 17 games for us which is almost the equivalent of half a season, so they’ll figure it out eventually
comment in response to
post
True, just think Tonali’s energy will be important and Longstaff could be brought on in the 65th/70th minute to shore things up if we’re winning?
comment in response to
post
Aye the only change probably will be the forced change of Kelly coming in, but would be nice to see Tonali start

Villa Park’s camera angle from COVID (this Liverpool game comes to mind) was… weird?
