INCREDIBLE!

Especially because I dread being pushed into having to apply for things I'm not qualified for, or out of my wheelhouse, or face consequences. Especially when it's been *so* *darn* *long*.

Yeah. Sometimes, just keep one's self together feels like all one can do, when they wider system won't help. I greatly dislike how it's become like this, but those at the top are too gutless to tax the wealthy enough to fund society. *le sigh*

I’m sorry the process has been so shite. Hopefully it improves at this point - it shouldn’t be so straining a process to get support. *hugs*

So darn sorry to hear someone's done this to you - it feels so silly for them to hold it in. (And honestly, they need to get unpacking their own shit too by the sounds of things.) 🖤

Thanks! It tends to be a for “occasions” deal - so nice every so often :)

The charming minimalism of Accolade's 80s game boxes is one of my very favorite things about them. If it's not too gauche to link my own post in a reply, I dumped some words about that a couple of years back - netizen.club/~wildweasel/...

Yeah, there's a certain style to those which I do find appealing. It's also interesting to compare those US covers to what US Gold did when they brought them over to the UK & PAL regions - I think something was *really* lost along the way.

All part of the interrogation! As you manage to put smart them, they’ll slowly break!

(Yes. I went there. Disengage your nostalgia and you'll agree. But then again, there's a reason I say to do that on a regular basis anyway. 😀) (At least I'll feel a little less down tomorrow with fun things a happening. I can use a big, fun thing tbh…)

It's a relief to know I'm not alone - kind of tough to avoid the comparisons with other folk who just seem to be able to keep rolling from piece to piece, and either don't care about having their own play time… or still squeeze it in.

Happy birthday man! I'm hoping you've got a nice day planned to enjoy it! 😀

Huh. Looks like it's also a bonus for those who pre-ordered the SS Remake anyway (not just backing). If it wasn't that, then it's a surprise which should be adored! :D

IIRC I think they're giving it to folks who backed the remake on KS, unsure if there were other ways though! (But I don't think those keys were added to BackerKit yet!)

Jack Tramiel was the first and last king of home computing. What he did through Commodore changed that world forever. As much, or more, than Apple or IBM. As I say at the end: He built many of us, who are building the future today. every.to/the-crazy-on...

How else can they ensure they're ready for the real life version of the Transit Advisor!

Yeah, my rule of thumb is basically masking on PT, doing errands and in crowded spots, and I'm certainly in the rarity amongst those cases!

It’s certainly a two-way thing! Protecting folk from getting it is as important as protecting yourself!
