A large line of LAPD riot cops advances on the peaceful crowd. This is LAPD's typical "slow kettle" tactic. They are trying to push people out to clear a buffer zone around the federal detention center.
This is not the easiest part of downtown to kettle people in. Takes a lot of cops.
