If you stand with Ukraine, *do* something about it. Donate to Ukraine's defense by contributing to Ukraine's President's Initiative. It's a Ukraine dot gov site, so every dollar goes directly to Ukraine's defense.

You are the Washington Post can you please be clear that "probationary employees" does not mean they were just hired recently, it could mean they were recently promoted to a new role & could have been with the department for decades.
They are not firing recent graduates, they are firing experience.
