@kenmartin.bsky.social 100% agree with this post. Did not write it, but you need to read it. m.facebook.com/story.php?st...

Idea- DNC needs to identify candidates for midterms now. Then when a current Dem does a town hall in a red district cause Rs won’t do town halls- take the newly minted candidate along & intro them to the crowd. Then have them continue to do town halls. Get their names out now. Keep them out there.

No! No! No! No! No! Do not cave to the Republicans. Vote no. Period. @schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov We know the shutdown is on them. You cave we don’t vote for you ever again.

I think this perfectly encapsulates how we’re all feeling. FYI @repscottpeters.bsky.social @schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov www.facebook.com/reel/3534667...

I was just watching on YouTube (ironically) a video, part of a series, called How to De-Google Your Life. It occurs to me that leaving Google, Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, et al is a good way for us to take back a little of our power and hurt the broligarchy in the process.

So very true.

I was thinking about these targeted tariffs from Canada and Mexico. First, neighbors to the north and south, thank you and we love you. May I suggest a different target though? The tech bros. Of course that would have to be legislation, not tariffs, but you get it.

Just learned about an app that allows you to see how companies you buy from donate to politicians. It’s called Goods Unite Us. We should all download and vote with our wallets.

I’ve wondered since 2017- Where are all the white hat hackers? Why are we not constantly bombarded with images of Repugs with trans women and gay men? We know it exists. We know why they’re obsessed. There’s metric butt tons of images with hookers but nobody gives two shits about that anymore.

I think a couple of bots just followed me. In other news, the best thing on Facebook right now is all the memes mocking Zuck’s decision to end content moderation by posting fake news stories about him.

With the announcement of an end to content moderation on Meta I’m thinking back to people who say we shouldn’t abandon Twitter/X and I disagree. WE are the product on social media so take the product off the shelves. Hit ‘em in their fat wallets. It’s all they understand.

Chief Justice John Roberts’ year end review shows a complete lack of self-awareness. Some politicians are a threat to judicial independence? No shit and you gave the biggest threat carte blanche. Some judicial decisions are “egregiously wrong”? You mean Dobbs and Citizen United?
