It's a sad irony that Franco himself was from Galicia. When I lived in Spain during the late 60s, his birthplace was officially known as El Ferrol del Caudillo. The regime went to great lengths to stamp out the Gallician language.

Today, The English Whisky Distillery, Norfolk. England's first accredited whisky distillery since 1902. Awarded World Best Single Malt (sherry cask). Spent a fortune in the shop.

Today I had an email from a veterinary practice in Bedford. It said that my 'pet' may need an annual health check and/or vaccination. The pet in question died 8 years ago, at the age of 20, good going for a cat. And I don't even live in Bedfordshire. Hey: you have all the records, so check them.
