We know. We look at comments from the rest of the world and wish they had an understanding that Musk is not a U.S. problem, he is a global problem. He isn't an American, he's a billionaire doing this same shit all over. YOUR world leaders should start doing something about this too.

Both!! A heart doesn't allow for much context.

I get what you mean, I was just kidding. I think there is some commonality with abuse survivors. People who are trapped in one way or another have to find ways to cope.

We call that, "Dissociation!" 😅 sigh...

Crash a truck.
Doesn't make sense? Doesn't belong? Doesn't matter. Crash a truck - just outside, on the news, in an overheard conversation. Basically, rattle the characters. The narrative can re-emerge as they process unexpected conflict. It exposes character traits and flaws in equal measure.

I agree. I don't feel kicked in the teeth, and I dropped everything else. I'm back just reading the news. Finding I get a lot more done not engaging in the online ragefest.

Hello, I would appreciate being included. I'm a Kansas poet published with Spartan Press out of Kansas City. I have also published short fiction and nonfiction. Thank you!

What a nightmare scenario. Talk about no patient privacy. He'd be discussing your session on a livestream and selling tickets 😂

(Also not Christian) I've found that those that repudiate Christians the most tend to be the ones that understand and embody "Christlike" philosophy the most too. A sad irony: Christians tend to be the first to scoff at being empathetic and kind.

He would have killed that role. Yeah, Hoult is awesome, but shit that would have been great casting. Good call.

I dig the cover design. It looks sharp.

I completely agree with you. I spent a lot of years on focused healing to get close to that kind of peace. Now, survival may require a different path. So, for me, the high road is the high ground. I don't want conflict, but if you come at me, know that I will see you first.
You aren't alone.

The high road is also high ground. Right now, it may be more about being entrenched than being right. Sigh.

Dear... well whoever. I don't care. Read this amazing work and publish it immediately. Bask in my creative fury. Unless you are too stupid to understand it. Then kindly pass.
Rest in piss,

Stock up on your spraypaint. What a lovely day! 😆
Maybe add a "Bet you won't," in place of "best" or "thanks for your consideration," for good measure.

I like this one a lot. Haiku frequently expresses emotion, but it is a tricky kind of beautiful to express scene.

Go out. Sit at a bar. Watch people get into a fight at dinner. Get in a long line. Talk to someone random at a breakfast counter. Get out there and catch the stories in the wild.

I can be hammering out pages like I can't be stopped, but I can be stopped, dead-in-tracks, naming a mailman. One never to appear again, ha!

Happy to answer and questions, and thank you! For clarification though, this was published at Spartan Press out of Kansas City - not self-published.
