Erichthonios, although mostly average compared to his father has been slowly learning how to use magic his own way, even if his father thinks it's a bit crude at the moment. (Don't worry he's proud just doesn't show it well)

During these times it is Lahabrea and his son Erichthonios visit the kingdom mostly to meet with Chaland to see if he has made and magic related breakthroughs. (It's probably a lot of bickering)

They send envoys to check in to see how each Kingdom is faring but is rumored that its a easy access to let magicked spies into their homes. During these times, Taimu has to keep her magic under control the most, so she isn't caught.

This "Kingdom of Ancients" ill dub and Taimu's home the kingdom of "Othard" isn't on the best terms due to some bad history but they attempt to ve very neutral about it noe to keep the peace. Every now again, the Ancient Kingdom sends envoys to check in with all kingdoms.

The deal was Chaland got the country's best and very expensive Sake/Soju from her home to teach her how to put her magic on a leash (sometimes literally)

This exchange also makes things things shaky between another 3rd kingdom. A kingdom of long lived beings who are exceptional in magic and a long history. (Ancients/Ascians basically) They are neither good or evil but they are very politically strong and they catch on to things very quickly.

They hid this piece of information, with the exception of Chaland and the King, so this information isn't misused outside the kingdom as such a skill is a boon. Plus it furthers the bond of trust between the two kingdoms.

The kingdom thought best that they send Taimu to be taught under the great Sorcerer Chaland to best control her new magic skills while keeping out the part being a lost magical skill out of the public.

While magic isn't a commodity where she is from, they weren't sure what sort of magic attracted so many mystical creatures to her. They prefaced that what Taimu was gifted was a magical art that was lost to the kingdoms history and had started to resurface once more.

Taimu is from a noble family in a different kingdom where Lionsguard AU happens and they were mostly a family of warriors. Yet Taimu was born all the same as a blessed child with lots of magic potential.
