If a woman had 13 kids by four different men, used ketamine and spent all her time running a shadow presidency, I’m not sure our society would celebrate her.

These are the best the republicans can do. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/02...

The January 6 pardons are turning out great.

Maybe I should be calling it the “MAGA 7” these days.

Keep up the great work. The Economist's graphics are top notch. Clear and concise. @josephc.net PBS Newshour and The Economist are my main survival tools for the next 4 years. A little NYTimes for breaking and The Atlantic for human pieces as an appetizer.

100%

Perfect.

My prediction, not novel or high level, is that FB/threads/IG will become toxic within a year. This will lead to a slow leak of advertisers. 4 years of trump and this move by meta will make meta toxic for most Americans.

Biden: We have an obligation to stand up to what my dad used to say is the greatest sin of all: The abuse of power. *camera cuts to Trump and former presidents*

@davidfrum.bsky.social is added to my voices of reason list. His @theatlantic.com pieces are great. Hearing him speak is something extra. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

Information regarding federal government spending. 1) Federal workforce is historically stable. 2) The agencies targeted by trump are small with minimal budgets. 3) Non-military discretionary spending remains relatively low. 4) Entitlements remain the largest budget line items. #doge
