Intentional cable cut x 2 on the same cable in Canada. Motive unknown, but possibly fishermen freeing a trawl, according to operator representative. I can't find any fishing boats on AIS during Dec 24 2024 though. Nor any other odd ship. If someone has a more exact time it would be appreciated!

Worse than appeasement. Appeasement is making concessions under threat, hoping that will avoid war (which is usually naive; they'll demand more).
