Can never go back, only forward 👍 the optimist in me imagines a humanity that has both scientific understanding and mystical admiration for nature and it’s ways, which maybe has never existed before. The goal is a living landscape, whatever that may look like.

Worth pointing out also that the corn will no doubt require artificial NPK fertilisers that destroy soil life anyway and require fossil fuels to manufacture. Also planting/harvesting each year requires heavy machinery that compacts the soil and also uses fossil fuels for transport.

It’s why I’m petitioning for a ban on fossil fuel advertising and sponsorships – for too long oil and gas companies have had largely unlimited £££ to greenwash their filthy reputations for government and the public . We say no more . petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
