“It’s homeless shelters.” Finally asserting loud and proud what we’ve known for years how they feel about the poor.

I’m going to keep these bozos in mind the next time I’m feeling bad about myself for submitting an expense report that I forgot to attach the spreadsheet.

Just a few weeks ago, I did a race that started/ended at a uni. The course went directly through frat row, and it was just a sea of tables filled with beer and shots.

He was at the Caps/Hawks game too. The only two time I’ve seen him since he was voted in is on camera at a hockey game.

Also, I’m doing the danged race this weekend.

“I look forward to I look forward to” hurts my soul on a level I never before imagined possible.

The closest I’ve come are people who compliment me for running so far and my pompadour staying in place.

All this time I’ve been doing chicken parm, and the secret was 10 pints!?

“Thank you for your attention to this matter” is how I know I can toss a mailer straight into the trash bin.

Gatekeeping in running makes my blood boil.

“brave enough” The train for you opining about ‘bravery’ left the station hours ago, son. Stick to flailing around indignantly.

“I can’t even with you people” That’s the beauty — you don’t have to. You’re cordially invited to go self-righteously hump your thesaurus in private while the rest of us effect change. Go on, claw for that last word, since it’s the hardest you’re clearly willing to try.

Imagine if you put even half as much effort into fighting back against the bullies as you do fighting for the last word in this thread.

If you want to vomit up purple prose from behind the safety of your keyboard all day, by all means, do you. But get TF out of the way of those willing to fight the fight, because I can assure you the conservatives aren’t going to back down.

As a KC Mavs fan, it brings me a lot of joy that Vic got to go up, even if the situation was less than ideal.

A couple years ago, I hit an unexpected wall in the last couple miles of a 25K long run, and thought I was just bonking inexplicably. (then my flashlight died, and the coyotes started yipping) The next day I tested positive for Covid. The bronchitis race was even worse than that. #runsky #run

I had to stomach kind of liking Marchand through Four Nations, and now every time I see him demonstrate a little bit of charm it’s like tearing a scab off.

I’m reminded of when my cousins and I would do something ill-advised as children, and struggle to explain it as a group because the adults didn’t give us time to get our story straight together. Except, in this case, the children are heads of offices of national security.

They specifically told you why they shamed you; everything after “are you seriously” is just you making up a different reason on their behalf. Make no mistake - if you want to live in an ignorant cave, it’s your prerogative. But you don’t get to tell people outside your cave what it’s like outside.

Chris Mosier (FtM) kills it as a competitive runner and cyclist. More likely, goons will be goons, and they’ll either a) be skeptical that “a womern beat a real man,” or b) contort themselves to say it doesn’t count.

Just a few weeks ago, I gave a space talk to some kids at a Title I elementary school, and it was the time of my life. This entire administration makes me want to throw up.

Your entire thesis is “I’ve never been outside my podunk zipcode, but here’s my expertise on all the places I’ve never been”?

I like both of them. When Dunn was out injured, I feel like the defense was even worse off than usual. I was actually at the game last week when the Blues mopped the floor with the Kraken, and the folks around us actually cheered a bit when both guys scored goals.

The story between the lines here is how easily manipulated she apparently thinks the man that she gladly voted to lead our country is - since she’s smart enough to peg Elon Musk as a puppeteer, but Trump’s not?
