Maybe tweaking my current game could be a hobby but I wouldn’t do any new games while in a full-time job. I’ve lost my love for game dev at the moment so will be good for me to take a complete break from it ☹️

Thanks for trying it out, always cheers me up to see some new downloads 😊 The mobile market is brutal, Apple (and Google) should help indie devs a lot more than they do.

Afraid not, sorry. The plan was to do the Android version when I hit 1000 downloads on the App Store but haven't reached 200 after 8 months ☹️

I'll pay my Apple Developer fee for another year to give it a chance to find its audience. Here's the App Store link for anyone that's curious apps.apple.com/app/6504028206

Created using #Godot but iPhone only at the moment. 100% free doodle-jump-like platformer with endless Survival mode and 20 rage-inducing levels to complete #MobileMonday apps.apple.com/app/6504028206

Not much love for mobile games but I've been struggling to get any kind of visibility for my Doodle Jump style platformer on the App Store. Downloads & ratings would be hugely appreciated apps.apple.com/app/6504028206

I went the other route with Godot and released my game on iOS only. Nothing close to your download numbers though, you've done really well for a first release 😎

Well done on hitting 10k, looks fun. Is there an iPhone version in the pipeline?

I had this game on the C64. Looked great but was fiddly to play with a joystick. Don't think I got anywhere near completing it.

Nice to see he's named it after his own head.

I think it’s fine to use ChatGPT as a learning aid or to get the ball rolling for a new piece of functionality. I limit myself to 3 prompts a day to keep it at arms length.

I'm sure ipod.shuffle.gen1 could easily be sacrificed for save/load.

I think soon it will be impossible to find any software product that doesn't try and push some kind of AI helper on you. You just need to migrate to the ones that are less intrusive or easy to switch off.

It has a built-in pedometer but you need to walk exactly one step per second.

Would get quite stressful as the countdown reaches zero with enemies bouncing everywhere but could be a fun survival mode.

A room where you need to keep the payload alive until a timer reaches zero. A spinning blade is added every n seconds that just bounces off the edges, with a constant velocity. Each new blade moves slightly faster than the last.
