The interview the quotes are from is well worth watching (quotes from 1:00 onwards)

(But then her interviews are always worth watching)

Yup. Take the concluding sentence:
"But I do think that when some kind of annoying kid from Greek life shows up on the Bluesky quad one day, users there should go out of their way to tell him to bring his friends."
I have no idea what that means.

Possibly 2025 Tour of Britain Women is the first time at a World Tour race with more than 3 stages though?

Good question. 2023 Women's Tour Down Under is one such race. Winner of each of the three stages also took GC.

She looks uncomfortable, as am I viewing the photo:

Popularized by British TV show "That's Life!" which gave out 'Jobsworth awards'. Possibly originates from this song, apparently youtu.be/fz44_Sp0K8A?...

Thanks Dan. Interesting to hear Wiebes thought the race should've been neutralised after the horrible crash yesterday. I wondered about that myself.

Long Wikipedia usually separates notes from references using letters for the former or e.g. n1. I wish all books did.
I'm currently reading a book where two notes on one page are "Ibid." and another is 10 lines starting "I say 'in theory' deliberately. The reality might be a little different..." 😒

My sympathies. I once came back early from a family holiday for a similarly pointless interview at a public sector org. I wondered if their HR procedures set a minimum number of people to invite for interview 🤷♂️

According to Wikipedia, the Bicycle Touring Club was renamed the Cyclists' Touring Club to open membership to tricyclists in 1883. My impression is the terminology changed more widely in the UK but not in the US
