Personal project time. Bit of a different approach as this is a real horde army. I’m doing all the bulk work at the front. Then I’ll go back and do banners, characters and a few details once I’ve broken the back of the troops.

When a game turns 30 years old and is still beloved by many, you know it was a winner! Play it now in half scale with a revamped fully 3D set. The tiles are updated to PLA prints which are lighter, sturdier and have helped bring the price down!

I’ve started tackling the Warmaster. So many quality of life improvements. But after 40 bits I’ve still not even half finished the legs! It’s very posable for giant kit. It has locator pins for ‘box art’ pose that cut off to free up the joints. Great model but quite a commitment!

After the hectic madness of Salute (probably the best event they’ve done) I needed a little hobby decompression. Finishing this mammoth set off was perfect. A wonderful gift for that ‘special birthday’ from my wife, friends and family.

The toughest part of batch painting over 100 minis is basing them. It’s the last stage. It’s pure tedium. But it’s sets the hard work off so well that I can’t quite now. Let’s go!
