In school when we’d learn about historic times like the holocaust, the Spanish Civil War, the Great Purge, I always imagined that the world for those people just stopped. That nothing mattered but The Event they were living through. It’s not true, life just keeps happening.

I feel like ahead of Luigi’s potential trial the entire pool of jurors needs to learn what “jury nullification” is. Basically, there is an option where the jury can say “yeah he did it, but not guilty” and judges aren’t allowed to tell you that’s an option. It would be historic.
