Sorry Stephen, friend or not, I disagree strongly. It's the same attitude that's caused countless delays, barriers and blocks across research in terms of ethics, rights, justice and access. Research is not 'apolitical' and being the 'bigger person' when facing direct threats is foolhardy and weak.
