I volunteer w/a safe space organization for queer teenagers. It has been an extremely hard day for our trans students. If you could spare a thought, prayer, or good vibe for them tonight, they really need it. The cruelty of this decision is a lot to process. Their supportive families need care, too.

There was no pride in their marching, either. From what I saw, there were slumped postures, out of step, a few hands in font at parade rest. It nearly looked intentional.

As a veteran, can I say, blame the President for deploying the Marines and federalizing the National Guard. Don't blame the Marines for being deployed or the Guard for being federalized. This isn't a job. You can't just say no or quit. You get court-martialed and sent to Leavenworth.
