I think its fine to have art content you dont enjoy, approve of or want to see, and establishing a personal boundary is healthy But as anti-porn and anti-art fascism continues to ramp up i think you need to weigh how publicly calling people freaks, degens, weirdos etc is feeding these attitudes

No power. Our neighbor is fruitlessly attempting to hack the ice from his driveway. Wind is howling. Feeling way worse about not being able to get veggies for the buns (not their primary food source, hay is) vs not being able/willing to attempt to go to work today.

If you have students who are trans no you don’t. If you have students of color who may be affected by ICE no you don’t. If anyone asks you gender or racial the makeup of your class you don’t have to tell them. Protect your class and protect your students by not complying in advance. They trust you.
