I get no responses from Republicans on this post

With the Liberal win in Canada, the demonstrations in Hungary, the demonstrations all across America, maybe we're seeing an inflection point in the curve toward fascism

Boston's old North Church last night

Thanks to @meidastouch.bsky.social for sharing stories of the resistance on both sides of the border. #elbowsup

Interesting, on Lawrence O'Donnell tonight, the Musk Trump relationship may be disintegrating.

I troll conservative sites and I'm amazed at how they fail to understand our representative form of government. They are touting a monarchy where the President instead of the Congress is in charge in defiance of the Constitution. They want a dictator.

The Ukraine is doomed. Trump stopped helping them, and Putin sensing an opportunity has instituted a huge draft, obviously planning to take advantage here and take all of Ukraine.

Chris Hayes on MSNBC really pounded Schumer on his apparent failure to take seriously the Constitutional threat Trump is presenting, and I seriously agree with Hayes. The Democrats really don't seem to be sufficiently reacting to that threat.

ICE is now a Soviet-style Secret Police, sweeping people in the middle of the night and throwing them in prison without any judicial oversight. How do we know they're bad people? We only have ICE's word. It is a very sad sign of the times that conservatives are okay with this, even celebrating it.

When will Congress and the Courts finally begin to react to the threat to our Constitution Trump has created?

Townhall.com is a huge right wing site and I am proud to say I obliterated one of their posts. They tried to complain about the courts constraining Trump, and I pointed out Trump was defying the Constitution which stipulated Congress was in charge not him (Articles I and II). TH deleted it all.

Townhall.com had posted a contentious post about the courts constraining Trump. I posted there about how the courts were upholding the Constitution, that Trump was not a king, what he was doing defied the Constitution, and the whole discussion was deleted by Townhall. Apparently they were afraid.

Trolling Red websites I find a poor understanding of the Constitution. They misinterpret "Executive" in a modern sense as in CEO, but Articles I and II are clear the President is a COO not a CEO, who must carry out the will of the Congress. They're livid when the courts agree.

The Republicans in Congress have officially, in an amendment in the Budget Bill, given up their control over tariffs, another step in their handing all Legislative power over to Trump. Looks like the beginning of the end of our Constitution. The Courts are our last hope.

Well said!

Trump is now literally on Russia's side in the negotiations to end the war Russia started against the Ukraine. wapo.st/4buUFKn

Trump/Vance have abdicated our leadership of the free world. politicsofthelastage.blogspot.com/2025/03/the-...

Leaders of the free world stand united in London The United States is not among them

NEW: Senator Marshall (R-KS) RUNS AWAY, fleeing his own town hall after being asked about DOGE firing Veterans. MAKE HIM GO VIRAL.

Is there anyone on the Supreme Court concerned about Trump seizing Legislative powers? Why not? Are we witnessing the end of the Constitution? Why does no one care?

I've described elsewhere how Trump's election is the end of the civil rights and feminist movements which began in the 70's. But with Trump's vote with the Russians, Iran, North Koreans against Europe in the UN, we now also have the end of the alliance with Europe built by FDR. What will be next?

He nails it.

What I don't understand is why Republicans in Congress are so willing to surrender their Constitutional authority to Trump. For those unsure of what I mean, read Federalist 51: "In republican government, the legislative authority necessarily predominates". Trump is in defiance of the Constitution.

Kamala was right. And it only took him less than 30 days to roll over for Putin.

Interesting and chilling that Trump’s post "He who saves his country, violates no law," was used by far right Norwegian murderer Anders Breivik ( who in 2011 killed 77 mostly kids & wounded 319 ) Breivik cited that purported Napoleon quote, to justify his attacks.

True words.

Why aren't the other media companies, CNN, NBC, ABC, etc., coming out in support of AP which has been banned by the Trump for failing to acknowledge his declaring the Gulf to be the "Gulf of America". Are we in some Orwellian nightmare where the government is allowed to dictate what is real?

What about Elon, he was an illegal immigrant who overstayed his visa

At the direction of RFK Jr., America’s newly confirmed secretary of Health and Human Services, the CDC has suddenly fired nearly 1,300 employees in a single day. 10% of America’s vital team of health experts — considered global leaders in disease control — have been axed. Although HHS…

South Africa has banned U.S. businesses and cancelled shipments of minerals to the U.S. which will cripple U.S. manufacturing, over Trump's elimination of USAID. Trump ignores consequences of his actions. We are watching the collapse of our country in real time.

Donald "Neville Chamberlain" Trump is preparing to hand the Ukraine over to Putin without the permission of the President of the Ukraine by the way. The Baltic States should probably be paying attention. We do know how the Treaty of Munich turned out.

I troll conservative websites and I'm astonished at how many of them wish we were a monarchy, where Trump was king.

Dark times. I troll conservative sites and I am very disturbed by how they are so comfortable with a Trump as a monarch, seizing Legislative and Judicial power. I see our Constitution being shredded, they seem to be okay with that. Why are Republicans in Congress so willing to be neutered.

Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC tonight, people already have died because of Trump/Musk shutting USAID down. Will they ever be held responsible?
