Interestingly, it seems using hashtags is not that common on #bluesky. I also fail to find ways to follow hashtags which is one of the most powerful features in #mastodon.

Of course the biggest issue with #bluesky right now is that it is not yet clear how all this content and engagement will be #monetized. We've seen "free forever / don't do evil" claims done too often in the past on rising tech platforms. The risk of cashing out grows alongside the user base.

Contrary to my experience joining #mastodon more than a year ago, all the big media outlets are already active here on #bluesky and easy to find. Now if I could just find some more regional/local content it seems I have a nice match with the journalism here and the nerdy stuff on #mastodon.

Seems it's not possible to edit posts after the fact which is a shame, I've used that a lot for minor corrections/additions and it makes the general quality of posts on the network better. Of course it could be misused somehow but I don't really think that justifies not making it possible.
