also, in vrchat and other social VR apps, it makes it feel like people are actually there with you, standing right next to you. no matter how much you stop noticing the 3D, subconsciously it makes everything feel so much more real..

very strongly at first, but over time it starts becoming more of a subconscious thing, making the VR world feel real and enabling depth perception to the point where playing beat saber on difficulties beyond expert+ is actually viable, vs on a flat screen it would be very hard to tell where to hit
