The fact that I watched Into Darkness all the way to the end while sitting not 15 feet from a full bluray set of Strange New Worlds, is surely indicative of some inner desire for self harm.

Ridiculously great. It was my first, and only, Metroid game. Also my personal Game of the Year for 2021.
Though as a franchise newbie the lore made zero sense.

Really makes it funny how each Hitman games, in which you play as a genuine cold blooded assassin, probably have the lowest body count of any AAA video game series.
Meanwhile treasure hunters like Lara Croft or Nathan Drake have kill counts higher than some countries.

Reminds of the scene in the (ancient dinosaur times) movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy” (or its sequel maybe?) where an ultralight plane flies backwards over the ground and lands vertically in a tree :)
Any cat lounging nearby would have “passed” it!
