h/t @rotimia.bsky.social

so is it the official view of the white house that race is a biological reality?

This video from Ezra Klein and Jon Stewart is a must watch for every Democrat. The Biden administration had a ridiculous 14 steps to apply for 'Build Back Better' funding, which didn’t even create any rural broadband. Democrats need to become more outcome focused and less process obsessed.

The whole Democrats are "rigging" elections thing doesn't really land for me tbh when the other side is literally handing out checks for people to vote for them

If you believe that if Democrats controlled every branch and Republicans were in the minority, they would have joined Democrats to vote for a bill they had no part in drafting to avoid a shutdown, you really need to stop smoking whatever you are inhaling. Stay off the weed.

I echo and agree 100% with @rotimia.bsky.social's latest piece via @rollingstone.com. As I've written and said multiple times, Dems need to go on offense on immigration to stop losing the debate and losing votes. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

There's a live online tracker that is following how much Trump and Elon have implemented from Project 2025. According to their projections, closely following the guidebook and reporting, Trump is 34% of the way done. www.project2025.observer

Incredibly accurate lmao

I went to go listen to The Art of the Deal audiobook recently so you don’t have to. Trump’s whole game is raising the stakes for his opponent to make them seem insane. Don’t take the bait Democrats, watch what he does, not what he says.

Basically - Democrats have had the volume on 10+ for nearly the last ten years about Trump. If you’re a swing voter at some point the volume just starts to sound like it’s at 1 because it’s been blasted for so long.

I don’t think the constitutional crisis message is going to cut through to voters because mass firing of bureaucrats is what they wanted. But Trump’s over reach is going to hurt the working class (see below). Better to say this is just bad policy than saying democracy is over.

I’m working on a piece about this but from my vantage point there are ~five~ different factions in the Democratic Party vying for power None of them are dominant, all of them are unsure how to move forward 🧵

One of the best books I’ve read post election is Regime Change by Patrick Denen. He argues once the new right “changes" the regime, liberalism (democrats) are fundamentally tepid actors, always afraid of backlash, so they'll act like they will fight back at first and then just give up lol

Trump and Elon want to gut a part of our government that goes after financial scams and fraud. Here’s why that’s a bad idea.

The paper straw is actually a perfect metaphor for some of the policies and institutions democrats embrace. Feels good for the base, but deeply unpopular, doesn’t actually fix the problem while also somehow being worse than what it replaces

59% of voters approve of mass deportation. 64% support sending troops to the southern border. Telling people “no human being is illegal” for the last 6+ years didn’t work and only radicalized people on immigration more. Gotta talk people off the ledge and go back to common sense on immigration.

Mr. Liar Pants Is Gaslighting Us On Undocumented Immigrants Again: The truth: Undocumented immigrants are a bonanza for Social Security and Medicare. They paid at least $25.7 billion in Social Security taxes in 2022, and they'll likely never get a cent of that back. The lie: "And we have…

A moment of hyperbole from Democrats, they called Trump “Hitler” then welcomed him to the WH with open arms. What’s interesting is they call this is a “coup” but yet just stand at the doors. If you really thought this was a “coup” you wouldn’t just be hanging out quietly lol

Medical debt was set to be eliminate from credit reports in March, but that now appears to be on hold indefinitely because Trump has paused all new regulations and because the Treasury secretary has paused work at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Really great quick video by MSNBC contributor @rotimia.bsky.social about Trump’s plans to use private prisons in his illegal immigration scheme.

Did I amplifying this enough???????
