We had to be. I had a smallpox vaccine as well! Also got a bunch of vaccinations to go to Brazil when I was 15. Also had to be vaccinated for college. Still love getting vaccinations. Have had 8 Covid-19 ones. Never have had Covid either.

I completely disagree. For the "good of the nation", is a long-gone hope for the foreseeable future. A lot of powerful people could have done better. But, now, here we are with a psychopath taking over because of the myriad failings of "powerful" voices over the last 9 years.
