Purely anecdotal but most of the busses I wait for have someone tracking it. Route/time dependent most likely.
I usually input my destination and navigate which auto activates the crowdsourcing. I am usually too afraid not to directly navigate because I know I'll end up on the wrong bus or train ðŸ˜

That's understandable.
Without paying, the only wall I have really run into is seeing routes far away from me. For most day to day commuting, the free experience has been pretty good.
And yeah there's crowdsourced data and the default data is sourced from the same place that google maps gets it.

Probably the best option for transit in #yeg if you want real time data. Though it sucks that the schedules are often so inaccurate.
