no, you're ok. I believe it's the point of life to bear witness & remember one another.

I wrote a horror short for a contest about that very thing a few years back. the judges HATED it, lol.

must be why I'm feeling extra crabby and warlike. good to know! 😋

I'd imprint tempos & arrangements, too. my mother had a recording of Mars the Bringer of War, conducted by Previn, recorded in '38. in my memory, that version's tempo & arranging is "correct". so whenever I hear a modern orchestra play it, they always sound too fast, too sloppy, etc. lol

you're so formal, lol 😋 I mean, I get it. cross the Is & dot the Ts. I've just noticed esp. when there's an international co-owenership of things like dubs it gets really muddy, but the main thing is that they're separate legal properties. & in this case, there's been no re-release in 20 years.

well, time perception speeds up, too. when I was a kid a summer afternoon felt like a weekend and an album felt like it took hours to listen to.

as it's a copy of a copy of a copy of athing that no longer exists. just saying. 😋

accoridng to Wikipedia, it's available on the Criterion channel. the US dub version passed thru many hands in the states so it's status is fuzzy over here... Toho has no masters for that version anymore so it might actually be legal to watch on daily motion or the internet archive...

the most important one I learned: the life of a story lives in the 'ah ha!' moments; those random inspirations & course corrections that happen in the midst of the writing process that you don't intend and can't anticipate. so- plan less, write more.

loved it, personally.

yep. when I wrote my short story collection the idea was that it was I book from a parallel universe that I would've found in my jr. high school library. 😋

yah Scary Monsters is my favorite album of his. Ashes to Ashes might be the most anti-pop song ever to be a hit.

Tea Leoni's news anchor segments will forever torment & baffle audiences. that being said, the surface of the comet in Deep Impact is way more realistic & scary, imo.

Lowwwwww ❤️ that album was my introduction Bowie, and in some ways ambient music. I listened to Art Decade over & over...
