Labour’s complicity in this genocide no longer ceases to amaze me, I pretty much expect it of them.
Just pleased I left the cesspit they’ve made of Labour and joined @greenparty.org.uk who take a principled stand, otherwise I’d feel I had blood on my hands.

Good point, as I have room in the attic and even with the weather in Northern England it can get too hot in summer.
Just need to find a contractor now with experience of natural materials.

Thanks I will check that out and try different materials.
I have limited depth on my roof rafters unless I over-clad them with another slab insulation layer so trying to choose the most efficient materials. đź‘Ť

Is this the place to ask about links to the most efficient natural insulation products for roofs?
I need my clay tile roof replacing so want to upgrade the insulation but don’t want fossil based products most builders would suggest.
Straw slab seems to be available in the UK but is it the best?

FWIW I've now joined the @greenparty.org.uk because at least they can form coherent points like "supporting people in need is good" and "genocide is bad", and have great individuals like @zackpolanski.bsky.social doing important work in their leadership.
