AI is the future 😀 I'm still trying to wrap my head around just how snake-oily the "hierarchy" of streamers is. This wasn't helpful. If I can tell that there are gains to be made by spending multiples of the cost of the WiiM Mini, then I will. But all the "audiophile" reviews seem like horse shit.

It's the weekend AND I've been paid, so a trip to the record shop feels inevitable 🎶💰📉 I'm always so grossly under-prepared when I go there. No albums, artists or even genres in mind and I usually panic buy. It's probably an approach that I should refine a little.

If I were to blow more money on this Hi-Fi then an upgrade to the WiiM Mini is the obvious thing to do. It's excellent and there's no reason to spend more, but you know how it goes. I'd love to know more about the ARCAM ST25 but the lack of reviews since launch is baffling; literally not one.

Sexy new Hi-Fi stuff arrived yesterday and is a clear level or two above what I had before. There's no need to upgrade the amp, speakers or turntable any time soon. Maybe the headphones and streamer get a bump at some point, but for now I'm just looking forward to the shiny new cabinet in March.

Low / no alcohol beer has come on loads since I last had a period of booze abstinence. Stuff that tasted OK a couple of years ago now tastes rough and needs to improve or will rightly fall by the wayside. My hitlist of things I'm not getting again includes Free Damm, Birra Moretti and spits Days.

#Microsoft's 40+% increase to Microsoft 365 prices is ridiculous. The main reasons cited make no sense: 1. "We haven't increased prices for 12 years" - Why not? Why not drip feed small increases rather than a huge one at a time of economic unease? 2. "We've added Co-Pilot!" - I couldn't care less

I do hope that whomever designed the controller controls for lock-picking in Kingdom Come: Deliverance spent a bit of time improving the system for KC:D2, because it's utterly horrible. Utterly, utterly miserable, unresponsive and lacking any level of fun or engagement.

Trying to ignore the most savage pain in history (toothache) by attempting to play Kingdom Come Deliverance FOR THE THIRD TIME. I love the era, the concept and everything, but it always felt like it threw too many obstacles at me. So I spent most of the prologue gathering dandelions and nettles.
