It is unfortunate that people are going to be made to feel ashamed of their country's actions, and be treated by default as having supported those actions. But Americans, as a whole, deserve it. I just don't rate our hurt feelings, compared the harm we're going to cause, as meaningful.

NEW: Sources tell me that US Attorney for DC Ed Martin just demoted multiple senior attorneys who oversaw the January 6th prosecutions. The lawyers were told they would now handle low-level crime cases usually given to junior AUSAs. Martin sent the demotion email himself, per a msg I saw. 1/
