Thank you! It’s a fun project so far. 🙂 If you want to try a weird thing in the meantime I made this late last year! rtwarner.itch.io/welcoming-ob...

I saw a mint boxed copy come up for sale locally a few weeks back, that was a drop everything and go situation.

I skipped class to go to the mall and pick this one up. The box is long gone, but I still have the packed in Book of Nod.

I think the previous owner must have enjoyed that, unfortunately it was not there, but that would have been very cool! I imagine you’ve enjoyed yours! 🙂

I don’t even remember seeing one in person back in the day!

I can’t believe how lucky a find it was, and the condition they’re in. It was like walking into a 90s software store.

Last year I made 2 short point and click adventures and started on a commercial project, called Ave Satanas, which I'm working on for the foreseeable future. 😅 rtwarner.itch.io/welcoming-ob... rtwarner.itch.io/limbo-park bsky.app/profile/rtwa...

Nice, thank you! Still so far to go, but I’m steadily making progress.

Thank you! 🙂

Its a combination of a posterization filter and a sneaky trick where I set the render scale to a lower value and disable upscaling. The trick is the scale is set based on the screen height, so no matter what res you’re using it will always look like it’s 640x360. 🙂

Blade Runner is one of my favourite adventure games, exactly what I’m going for with the combat inclusion! 🙂

It is absolutely unhinged, and only gets weirder as it goes on. There’s an episode where the Lexx is boarded by space farmers, from the planet Potatoho. At the end of the episode their crops are revealed to be living human heads sticking out of the soil. No further details are provided.

It was called Lexx and he was! His name was 790 and he received the brainwashing that Zev had been sentenced to receive; she was the first thing he saw, and she became the target of his obsession. Much of the series is on the internet archive.
