Amazingly i didn’t take a pic… best i have on my phone is this pic of the mould. You can see the underside like a pawprint. When i cast a new pair, ill get sole pics.

I think these are going to be a massive hit. But hear me out: Dinosaur pants.

Good luck! Don't let the place debauch you too much. Debauching you is our job.

It's a toy dragon, in blue.

I have dark grey rubber - I could just laser cut that and use it for toe lines. Their without toe lines, only because a friend said they look better like that. I think its a personal preference kinda thing. But yeah, certainly could.

The auctions have now ended. I did actually buy the fancy paid auction software with snipe protection and proxy bidding... But then I realized that I'd actually have to actually install the better software on the website.. and A) I'm not good at that stuff and B) I'm too busy making rubber stuff.

They are massive inside - 21cm wide and 36cm long The rubber inflates around the foot to hold it snugly.

These have now all sold, thank you.

Whilst easier said than done, it might be good to pump the breaks a little, you do seem to be doom speeding this morning. Anger is a symptom of stress too. And take it from me, anger can flip into anxiety in a heartbeat.

Garuda's custom commissions are hand finished 3d prints. This particular helmet is cast high impact polyurethane rubber, back-filled with urethane foam. An experiment between myself and Garuda.

And one of the main lessons learned is that when your working with synthetic rubbers, you can't fight the British weather. It needs to be warm and low humidity to cast the kinda quality surface that people demand from their Kobold drones.

Well, your getting the work, so maybe it just builds an aura or something.

I've only moved on to that method because I can't cast rubber hoods in my new accommodation. I'd still be casting and dipping latex hoods if I could. Anyhow, it's a process that matches a lot of your apparent skill set :)

Between the album, CD walkman, stickers and fact your called Vurt. This gave me a powerful late 90's flashback.

Gimme a poke about 3 if ever you want to eat my brains and steal my knowledge.

I am going to actually pay for some auction software I think. Something with proxy bidding.

Thanks, Nick. You are an inspiration :)

Yep, took absolutely bloody ages. And since it was the prototype I re-did quite a few things. I'm hoping things will get faster / better / squishier with practice.

Here’s a turnaround

Is that a kink or just a general curiosity about their robustness?

I guess I should make more?

They just sold, in fact.

In fact I genuinely forgot to put the latest auction on X... and there's now only a couple hours left. Sorry about that.

They are very big. They fit by inflating to constrict around the foot, so they start off (gets a ruler).. 20cm wide and 35cm long.

Went through the second time!

Ok... that is a thing... which happened... apparently. I am humbled. That is enough money to buy.. well.. me.. For many, many days. Those who have bid such high amounts will be offered custom made feet to their specifications. Meanwhile, more paws will be put up eventually.

I'm in a house now with a shed I can use as I wish. But the climate control is non existent, and it sits on a concrete slab that's so wet that I can run my de-humidifyers all day, and all I seem to be doing is sucking water from underground. Hoods take days to dry, rubber cracks, the moulds moldy.

..I can't just turn up at an industrial unit and bang them out. Aside from the cost, their tended all day everyday, many in parallel, dipped - left to dry - repeat. So I have been burning money researching other products using other materials that don't use a process over a century old.
