While I used to agree. In a world of garbage, adding more waste to it by unsold copies that get axed puts a stain on it for me. And the misconception that physical lasts forever. Sony, Nintendo or whoever can and will block general access to applications via software. A disc or cartridge won't help.

The beauty is that Joakim knows his vocals aren't great. He told them when they wanted him as a singer instead of synth player. And he rolled with it. He solely focuses on vocals that people can belt along to at concerts to make it enjoyable and memorable. No nuance, just raw vibe. 10/10

We get a small story bead, then all over sudden a screeching halt and smoking tires as we get a literal "meanwhile in the part of the galaxy no one cares about at the moment, even us who ignored it for months" and everything just stops. I feel like this issue will inevitably lead to another exodus.

Agree. However TOO handholdey isn't good either. While I am prepared to get stoned for this: 5e strikes the perfect balance. It allows experienced players to get by in clever ways winging it by their DM, but it also has a baseline set of rules and mechanics to follow if all are new including the DM.
