Gaming since 1978. Yes I like Pokèmon still so what? I tend to waffle about games mainly so don't mind me I'm just thinking out loud. Opinions are my own. https://steamcommunity.com/id/The_Light_Spirit/

I'm getting absolutely destroyed online in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S. I'm beginning to think buying this otherwise decent game was a mistake. People I get matched up with are well out of my League. Perhaps I should just stick with local Multiplayer instead.

*Goes to buy some games on Steam during the Summer Sale and the site won't load* Happens every single time 🙄

It has. I don't really care for the online as much now thanks to this stupid update. I prefer the traditional 3 lap races and if I can't play that because Nintendo don't want us to I guess I'll just go back to playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe instead. Hopefully they rectify this with a future update.

I've been taking a break from Nintendo Life since the start of this month to get away from the constant moaning whinging and nonstop negativity in general. I thought I'd go on just now to see how things were and the first thing I see on the forums is a guy whinging. Guess I'll be staying away for a

What I don't get is why do you get game over when the other party member is still alive? why doesn't the stupid game switch Player control over to that character? a game over when there are still party characters alive makes no sense at all and IMHO this BS needs to be removed from all RPGs.

I'm annoyed with myself because I never break stuff or get angry playing games. Normally I just turn the game off and walk away. Now I've landed myself the expense of a new Controller.

I can't be bothered to continue on playing this game now. When a spell lowers your defence by a stupid amount you know there's something very VERY wrong with game balance. Now I'm in the worst mood imaginable because I've lost hours of progress because I lost my temper. Whatever.

Well for the first time in years I just broke a Controller. I remember now why I stopped playing Final Fantasy XIII, it's because in later chapters enemies spam deprotect and whenever you try to remove it and heal the whole mob just gangs up on you resulting in death. It is absolutely infuriating.

The marketing emails I often get from them are spectacularly terrible too.

I decided to buy Death Stranding 2 and I'm really glad I did. The QOL improvements are really good when compared to the first.

I must admit some of the boss fights in Final Fantasy XIII really drag on because of how difficult it can be to stagger some of them. The boss at the end of Chapter 5 which I like to call Bulbasaur (it's obvious why when you see it) took me almost 15 minutes after managing to stagger it once. I

I still can't decide if I'm going to buy Death Stranding 2 or not. I played the first one and while I did find it interesting and different I'm not sure if I want to go through all of that all over again tbh. It's supposed to be more action focused this time with QOL improvements made so I'll see.

The Odin fight in Final Fantasy XIII though is without doubt the most broken/unbalanced piece of shit I have ever seen in a game. Like the fact he can kill you in seconds before you can even act is just utterly ridiculous. Oh and getting Doom cast on you during every Eidolon fight is just pure

I'm just playing Final Fantasy XIII now and it's weird how this game got so much hate. I think the battle system is the best in the whole series as it keeps you on your toes. I'm on Chapter 9 now, I've been defeated several times along the way but I never found it overly punishing.

I've watched Interstellar 12 times now and each time it gets to the Tesseract scene followed by the scene at the end with Murph as an old woman it still chokes me up even yet. I don't think we'll ever get another movie like Interstellar again tbh.

If Carbink from Pokèmon isn't a reference to Carbuncle from Final Fantasy then Lilac in Freedom Planet isn't a nod to Sonic the Hedgehog.

No matter how many times I watch the movie Total Recall I still can't watch the scenes when they're suffocating outside on the surface of Mars. When their eyes start to pop out and you hear the crunching and squelching it sounds so gross and I always have to shut my eyes during these scenes lol 😅

Developers need to stop adding so many boring fetch quests to pad the game out and instead add proper content that will keep the Player interested. I'm just finishing stuff up in post game and Jesus Christ these Miniadventures are really dragging on. Get this item get this Mirage. Give it a rest

If there's anything in gaming I absolutely despise it's boring fetch quests. World of Final Fantasy has to be one of the worst when it comes to this. This sort of gameplay is not engaging, it's just annoying running back and fourth fetching items and catching certain Mirages you don't yet have. Like

Well I just beat Exnine Bahamut/Brandelis yet again but this time in Nightmare difficulty. It's just as well I had 3 Mega Mirages in reserve as his Mega Flare Cannon spell can inflict almost 50000 damage. It took me a good 35 minutes to beat him on this difficulty and he withstood 3 Mega Flares from

Just finished World of Final Fantasy again and damn I just love the final fight against Exnine Bahamut/Brandelis. I got extra satisfaction this time though, just as he was about to Mega Flare me I Mega Flared him finishing him off.
