Absolutely, but you can also apply human creativity to also solving a problem. We probably wouldn't get something as performant as iD Tech without it. But I guess it would help the devs out with like suggestions for code auto fill, even if they might not be the best

Would you want a game to cost less? Would you allow the use of "ethical" generative AI to lower the budget?
If the other problem is replacing people and paying them their wages isn't that just the problem of capitalism?

Nintendo and other companies have a huge library of games, they could just train whatever AI they want off of their own things.
I think it'd still leave a bit of a sour feeling for most people who find out about it but I think that leads into a whole other discussion
