It’s the first day of Ramadan. I’m very grateful that we managed to move in after 5 months if reno chaos. It was still a building site right up to the morning we moved in!

2024 has been an interesting year. - Daughter turned 1 and it’s amazing - We bought a new place (stressful AF) but haven’t moved in yet - Left the CS and joined a consultancy. Enjoying working across Gov but took on too much and burnt out bad in Dec - Stopped taking care of me. Will fix that in 25’

I swear you need a PhD in Trigonometry to put up coving. The angles and corners and cutting directions are so confusing. I’ve been at it since 8am and my head hurts more than the physical toll of measuring, cutting, and sticking on the wall.

I’m so exhausted! After 4 months of chaos and uncertainty we finally exchanged AND completed on Friday. We have been ready for 2 months but didn’t know for sure it was happening until the actual day we moved. It was very stressful being in limbo for so long. Process had more twists than Eastenders
