We need more premium users testing the recurring routes feature - Who is interested?

@runalyze.bsky.social ! 🥰

It's up! The Decathlon Van Rysel D100 is likely the best budget smart trainer (by a huge margin), but, it's got a few catches. After months of usage, I dive into what works (and what's increda-frustrating): www.dcrainmaker.com/2025/02/deca...

The first three premium users who respond here with their username can test the route matching feature.

How precise should the route matching be? Keep in mind that these are only comparisons for yourself and are not segments that are about comparing with others Is this a valid match?

Beside that planning workouts is development (pushing them). At the moment, a process has been running for two weeks to save previous workouts from the activities. It was already running last year, but we still had to fix a few bugs. Currently done with the half of our activities

Route matching of complete activities is currently in development and it works quite good. A beta test with premium members and support will be available in the - hopefully - near future

As we have been working on the workout feature over the last few weeks, there have been problems importing activities with workout information since yesterday. The error has been fixed. Not all failed activities can be automatically synchronized again.

Garmins seems to have problems based on their status page. Activities could be delayed or missing. connect.garmin.com/status/

The Beginning of the End for ANT+ Wireless: Garmin announces changes that'll impact the industry, but also consumers. I dive into what it means in the short & long term (yes, it very much matters, especially if a cyclist), as well as all the fun history behind it: www.dcrainmaker.com/2025/01/the-...

All Strava activities will be set to private once. Future synced activities will be set to private always. You can manually change the activities to public if you want. And we will offer at some point a " tool" where you can change the privacy settings for Strava activities faster.

Our Feature Request Plattform ideas.runalyze.com has been updated to the latest version

We are upgrading during the day the backend of Runalyze. Although we test it a lot, have automatic tests and error reporting there can be edge cases we don't see directly.

We added a Search bar to Runalyze - You can use it to find tools, settings, glossary articles and help articles (English titles) much more quickly.

We hope that @dcrainmaker.com will post another update on his post about the Strava API term changes The comment sound promising: "There’s a big really big partners that are going back and forth currently with Strava, " www.dcrainmaker.com/2024/11/stra...

We had our conversation with Strava on Friday, which was pretty sobering. There are some misunderstandings about other apps with which Strava has no problems. We'll wait a few more days before we switch all Strava activities to private. You can then manually set individual activities to public again

First short statement to Stravas API agreement changes blog.runalyze.com/allgemein-en...

Garmins API seems to be down at the moment connect.garmin.com/status/ (Did they got hit by a many new API connections because of Stravas API changes? ;) )
