The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

Ugh, think I am coming down with something. Which is bad, as I've got an interview tomorrow, and money is real tight until next week, meaning I need to get out and do crap. Avoiding getting sick when you are stuck waiting around for food orders is really damn hard. Tight spces, no way to distance.

Home economics, or life skills would probably be a bit better name now, as well as rhetoric, research, and critical thinking are probably the two biggest areas that need to be expanded in education. Knowing how to do shit around the house as well as dig through data? Good skills to have.

On the other hand, the problem with so much information is it's very easy to find content out there that conforms to what you think is true in the world. I think we really do need to teach research and critical thinking as more important parts of the education process.

As much as it hurts not being able to get out and get money doing gig work tonight, I can tell its going to be a nightmare out there in Houston. Lots of snow melting, but once the temperature drops its all going to turn to ice. Crazy driving conditions. Hoping things will dry by Wednesday.
