Another step on trying to play every Metroid game. Needs some TLC. Cleaned up the contacts. Label has some stains, but I may be able to clean it up a little bit. I'd hate to have to replace it completely

And this on this day, did I reshell and swap out the screen for a new LCD screen. Kept the OG buttons of the SP. Just felt right that they keep gaming with me like the last 22 years.

So after... a lot of digging... this is everything that was in storage. OG GB was reshelled years ago. GBA SP is going to be reshelled. DS Lite will likely be reshelled. Fat DS will need new screens due to dead/stuck pixels.

Well the replacement screen showed up. Still waiting for the new shell and tools to start the process. I'm pretty good excited about restoring my first gameboy. My original was the 1989 Gameboy which I reshelled a few years ago

Recovered my Gameboy SP from a friend that I let borrow years ago. They aren't dead pixels, dust under the screen. Ordered a new shell for it, This shell was pretty "well loved" even before my friend had it. New shell is Metroid themed. I'm pretty excited. :D

I was digging around for my old Gameboy DS and charger. Remembered I had TWO DS's around (the original in blue and the slim line with the metallic red top) cause of my old job in walmart electronics. And then I found this bundle of joy shoved in the back with the blue DS. I'm... so happy.
