Yes!! He is an amazing actor! He played a similarly nuanced role in Halt and Catch Fire, which btw was an absolutely fantastic show. I will never understand why it didn’t generate more buzz.

Yes!! That series (it was just a trilogy back then) really leveled me up as a reader. The slower pace, the evocative imagery, and oh my god the place names. And it’s every bit as good 40+ years later, which is not always the case with old childhood faves.

Oh honey, it’s not a phase. My PO’B obsession started ~30 years ago & is still going strong. Wishing you joy of your first circumnavigation!
