overall thoughts on this year's Oscar nominated movies: a *ton* of movies I really liked. only one movie I thought was an all-timer (Nickel Boys). only two I thought were pretty meh. only one I absolutely hated. all in all, a decent batch, even if my personal awards would look very different!
