I grew up with bulletin board systems and AOL/CompuServe/Prodigy. It became my focus in life and career. I truly thought the Internet would bring people closer but I'm starting to think as a society we weren't ready for this level of information and speed of communication.

Things that ARE linked to cancer that influencers ignore or even deny:
Alcohol
Tobacco use
UV radiation
Smoking (of all types)
Low fiber intake
Certain viral infections
Almost like people who don’t understand complex cancer biology maybe shouldn’t talk about it? 👀

None of these MAGA people want to make the US great. They want to make the US theirs. Their skin color, their morality, and most importantly, their money.

I ended up getting the OTC Dexcom CGM and I love it. I'm the kind of person that likes micromanaging stuff, and while it may be be the more precise to the actual value, it reliable on the up/down trending information.

Seriously, we need more people like Dr. Love. More scientists to stop mincing words and being considerate. Fuck these charlatans. They do not deserve polite discourse.

Watching your facial expressions to the bullshit has been fantastic. Literally seeing you bite your lip, I wouldn't be able to keep myself from laughing.

Every day I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. As a kid I distinctly remember learning how important a discovery pasteurization was.

What kinds of OTC meds can result in hepatotoxicity? I think most people know the big one, tylenol/acetaminophen but I'm curious if there are other lesser known drugs that the general population might be unaware of

Stuff about ADHD, and more specifically in adults. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 40. I liked the episode on OCD and kept thinking one like that about ADHD would be great.

Given the current administration, and the insane amount of turbulence in the federal government as a whole over the last month+, how accurate and trustworthy is data coming out of the CDC and HHS in general?

Thanks to @kavehmd.bsky.social for introducing me to your work. I think you and @angierasmussen.bsky.social are my favorite science communicators right now :) Water is always my favorite chemical to point out to chemical fearing people. It's both necessary for life and deadly in large quantities.

Make sure those foods were canned prior to 2025, doubt the regs making sure they don't develop C. botulinum will still be in effect.

This is less of a question and more of a demand. I want a four part podcast on Warhammer as explained by Robert.
