Do you realise your response has as much meaning as scrambled eggs? Although you did get the hatred over, I’ll give you that.

No point blaming individual politicians for that. They’re caught up in the ridiculous system in your country where they can’t be/stay elected without a huge waste of time, effort and mental energy raising money - with the dire consequences that brings.

As a standard issue Trusk hater I seem to be swimming against the tide here but it seems to me Musk is in a strange-person frenzy of excitement and overstimulation at present rather than intending to cosplay a nazi. Maybe in the end it doesn’t matter which it is - the effect will be the same.

Of course there’s a difference. Maybe not as great as we’d like but Labor reflects an essentially centrist country for better or worse. Looks like we might have a Dutton government soon so it’ll be put to the test and I suspect you’ll get an F.

BTW ‘your society’ is also my society as it happens. I consider it flawed but not broken. And our schools don’t have guards.

They are operating within a society that makes these outcomes inevitable no matter how many obscene dystopian ‘security’ measures they put in place that have nothing to do with their real job of educating students.
